Accurate Inventory Management (“AIM”) provides inventory planning, retail sales analysis, forecasting, and reporting services to business clients. This Privacy Policy explains how AIM handles information provided in connection with our services.
Information We Receive
AIM primarily receives business and operational information supplied by our clients, including store and transaction information, product identifiers such as UPCs and PLUs, sales data, pricing and promotional information, order guides, and other information necessary to provide AIM services.
AIM may also receive limited information about authorized users, including names, business roles, and company email addresses.
How We Use Information
AIM uses client information to provide and support our services, including data analysis, report generation, system testing, troubleshooting, client support, and administration of authorized access.
Clients retain ownership of their sales data. AIM uses client data only to provide its services and as otherwise authorized by its agreements with the client. AIM may use de-identified or aggregated information for internal analytics and service improvement when that information cannot reasonably identify the client, its stores, employees, or customers.
Security, Access, and Retention
AIM may use secure third-party technology services, including Microsoft and SharePoint, to manage access and transfer client data. AIM’s SharePoint client portal is its primary method for transferring client data.
AIM retains information as reasonably necessary to provide its services and meet contractual, legal, archival, and operational requirements. Client agreements may provide additional rights regarding the return or deletion of identifiable client data.
